We want you to feel informed and comfortable before your first session.
You can reach out through our contact form, call us directly, or email us. We'll respond within one business day to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation, after which we'll book your first full session.
Your first session is an intake — a chance for your therapist to learn about your history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. It's also an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit.
During your free consultation call, we'll discuss your needs and match you with a therapist whose expertise and style align with your goals. If the fit doesn't feel right after your first session, we're happy to help you transition to another member of our team.
Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. Couples and family sessions may run 60–80 minutes depending on the type of work being done. Your therapist will discuss the ideal session length during your intake.
Yes! We offer telehealth sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Virtual sessions are available for all therapy types — individual, couples, and family — and are just as effective as in-person meetings.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish the therapeutic relationship. Over time, we may adjust to biweekly or monthly sessions based on your progress and preferences.
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. We're happy to verify your benefits before your first appointment — just call or fill out our contact form.
If we're out-of-network for your plan, we provide superbills that you can submit for reimbursement. We also offer a sliding-scale fee for qualifying individuals, because we believe cost should never be a barrier to care.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee, as that reserved time cannot be offered to another client.
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What you share stays between you and your therapist, with very limited legal exceptions (such as imminent risk of harm). Your therapist will review these boundaries with you during your first session.
Don't hesitate to reach out directly. Our team is happy to answer any additional questions you might have about therapy or our practice.
Reaching out is the hardest part. We make the rest easy. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're the right fit.
